Why flex cob strip & cob tape lights are becoming so hot now?
Compared with SMD strip light, flexible cob strip light has more advantages in applications(cob=chip on board):

2.cob tape light is being with more wider beam angle, say 180º 
Normal smd LED strip light is always being with 120º beam angle only, even people could make it in high density like 700pcs smd2110 per meter as below,which you can still find the lighting spots obviously.
Certainly, wider beam angle will result a little higher costs in produce.
3.Flex LED cob light strip has an ideal inner structure and more simple way for heat-dissipation.All the heat-dissipation of fcob LED strips are done on the tiny package platform itself, no extra intermediary needed at all. smd led tape light,like smd5050, smd3528 or smd2835 led strip lights are always radiating through flexible PCB or some other heating adhesives, which is more complicated for quality controllings.
4.There is no any resistors founded by human eyesight on the flexible LED cob strip lights, since it’s done on package process at the same time, which means more simple mass production process, but a higher working efficiency way.
